Young Rangers Introductory Session and Mendip Ramble.

Team Work!

On the 21st of September I went to Young Rangers.  It was our first session.

First we played games in order to get to know each other.  Next we went on a walk around the Mendips looking at all the old lead mines. When we reached the woods we were set a scavenger hunt.  Whilst we were looking I stepped on some land that I thought was solid but it turned out to be mud and I got stuck.  It took 4 people to get me out.

After lunch we were told to put on helmets and blindfolds and were led by rope around a course that made us go under trees, routes and tunnels, due to the weather it was very muddy and we all got covered in mud.

It was good fun and I really enjoyed the session and look forward to the next one.
