Lead Mining History and Ecology on the Mendip Hills

Lead mining no longer takes place on the Mendips and old spoil heaps and mines are now home to some very rare habitats and species. This event will be held close to a lead mining area so we can get out and learn about the history and ecology of mining on the Mendip Hills.
Meet at Charterhouse Centre, Charterhouse on Mendip, Blagdon, Bristol BS40 7XR.
