The ‘Level Up’ Project Partnership, led by the Mendip Hills AONB Unit, is advertising for two new fixed-term roles: a part-time Project Fund Coordinator and a full-time Nature Recovery Assistant.
Funded through Defra’s Green Recovery Challenge Fund, the Level Up Project will work in partnership with environmental organisations across the Mendip Hills, Blackdown Hills and Quantock Hills Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONBs) in Somerset to deliver pre-planned nature recovery and engagement projects that enhance habitats and connections for wildlife between the Hills and the Levels.
Project partners include Avon Wildlife Trust, Bristol Avon Rivers Trust, Somerset West and Taunton Council, Somerset Wildlife Trust, South West Heritage Trust, the Blackdown Hills AONB, Quantock Hills AONB Service, the Mendip Hills AONB Unit and Somerset County Council. Contract: Fixed-term until 31st March 2022.
Hours of work: 22.2 per week (part-time).
