Let the Mendip Rangers guide you through the most picturesque combe in the Mendip Hills. From Blagdon you’ll descend to the cosy village of Rickford, then gradually climb through the village of Burrington on to the Ham discovering how people have shaped this landscape over the years. From here we will return to Blagdon and drop down to the village and see some parts not usually seen and take in the church with its famous tower, returning to the car park.
This walk has numerous stiles and we will walk on lanes, droves, farmland and bridleways, with ascents and descents and uneven ground. The distance is 10km and will take approximately 3 hours.
Meet next to the Blagdon Fire Station car park.
At the end there is the option for a drink at The Queen Adelaide pub, where food can also be purchased.
