Summer in the Meadows

These Nature Walks, organised in partnership with Mendip Activity Centre, are seasonal guided walks exploring the hidden treasures of the Mendip Hills National Landscape. Taking place on Mendip Activity Centre’s 250-acre site, these walks offer the chance to slow down, look closer and discover wildlife, plants and habitats across ancient woodland, rolling grassland and historic quarry landscapes.

Each walk is led by Nathan Orr, Nature Recovery Ranger for the Mendip Hills National Landscape. You will explore a variety of habitats while learning about seasonal changes, local ecology and the wildlife that calls this landscape home. The pace is relaxed, with plenty of time to stop, observe and ask questions.
